From the beginning, UNICEF has worked within the country and in neighboring countries to minimize the impact of the humanitarian crisis on children, with particular emphasis on life-saving areas (water, sanitation, nutrition, immunisation and health) as well as on their future through education and protection.
The aim of the festival is closely related to the mission of the Balms Foundation: to support and protect the rights of children, and to acknowledge the important role carried out worldwide by UNICEF by donating all funds raised. For that reason, a positive synergy was created between the Balms Foundation and UNICEF with an aim to cooperate in the protection of children, and the Foundation made all necessary tools available for the proper development of the festival.
Many artists participated in the show, adding to the work of UNICEF and the Balms Foundation. They were coordinated by Popin the Clown -Adolfo Maguna-, who performed together with artists such as Sergio Paws, Carlos Veleiro, Club Al Compás, Arantxa Figueroa, Media Punta Dance School, Alberto Cunha, Marco the Magician, Shaved Head the Clown and MP Bestia Música Brasileira. All artists collaborated with the festival on a voluntary, selfless basis.
All funds raised were transferred to the account of Balms Children Foundation, and was donated to UNICEF.
